Start of operations VinFast is a Vietnamese company started in 2017 as a part of the Vingroup to manufacturer cars in Vietnam and sell them in global LHD and RHD markets. It broke ground for its factory in Chennai on February 2024 and is expected to start production in India by mid-2025. Market share VinFast is yet to begin operations in India. VinFast range VinFast currently has 1 hatchback, 3 five-seat SUVs and one seven-seat SUV in its range. These include the VF3, VF6, VF8 and the VF9.
